We have a flat bed industrial walking foot machine, which us suitable for straight stitching on heavy weight materials commonly seen in upholstery, motorcycle gear and leather goods.

This machine is not included in a standard hire package but is available as an add on per hour hire when using the studio space.

A tip for a professional finish: Always test on a remnant piece of the same fabric of your final project, along with test using the same amount of layers.

Thread: We recommend a UV Coated Nylon Thread for defined top stitching on top and bobbin.

All machines are in good working order prior to your booking. Please note, depending on your project and material you are sewing, you may possibly need to change needle type/size to suit your project.
